I work with women who are feeling disconnected from their true self, often struggling with people-pleasing, driven by perfectionism and are feeling burnt out by self-imposed patterns of overachieving. My approach goes beyond surface-level solutions and intellectualized insight and instead encourages a deep-dive into looking at thoughts, feelings, and behaviours which once served a helpful purpose but may no longer feel aligned with your goals.

As a queer therapist, I understand, first hand, the importance of finding a therapeutic space where you can explore concepts related to identity, without fear of judgment. My work with the 2SLGBTQI+ community often centres around romantic and familial relationships, as well as the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and understanding of Self.

Parenting a highly sensitive child? Not sure how to best support your anxious or reactive teen? Using best practices from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), I support parents as they navigate the most difficult (and most rewarding!) job there is.
